Please note the following Policy for Registered Parade Participants 2010
Southern Maine Pride is required by the Portland Police Department to monitor all intersections and feeding roads onto the Parade route. This requires two volunteers at each location (for a total of 70+ people). We are asking for each registered group in the Parade to provide the names and contact information for two people. These individuals can be family members, co-workers, friends, members of your organization who may not want to march in the Parade or anyone else who would like to support the Pride Parade with little effort. If you know of someone who will be on the Parade route as a spectator, they could easily help with this requirement.
